  • St. Philomena’s College (Autonomous), has introduced two programmes — B.Voc in Healthcare Technology and B.Voc in Media and Entertainment. The B.Voc programme focuses on preparing graduates/diploma holders to acquire necessary job market skills enabling them to gain employment or become entrepreneurs. It aims to help students become confident and proficient and job-ready in components like photography, cinematography, editing, and documentary/music videos, etc. (B.Voc Media and Entertainment) or CSSD/OT/Cardiac technicians (B.Voc Healthcare Technology), a release said.Students can leave the course with a diploma (after completing one year) or advanced diploma (after completing two years) or a Bachelor’s degree (after completing three years successfully). Admissions for 2015-16 has commenced. Minimum qualification is PUC/12th standard pass in any stream. Dropouts from graduate courses can also join.
