Departments of Life Sciences, St. Philomena’s College, Mysuru and The Sustainability Platform – TSP, (Asia) are jointly organizing two days National Expert Seminar on the topic Biodiversity Based Economy on January 4th and 5th 2019in association with RMIT (Australia)at the college auditorium,

Eminent speakers and subject experts namely, Dr. Narasimhan, Member of Benefit sharing group, National Biodiversity Authority. Dr. Sukhpal Singh, Chairperson of Centre for management in Agriculture (CMA), Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad.Dr. Sundaresan,Scientist-in-Charge, Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP),Bangalore and entrepreneurs Mr.K.P.Sunil,Eco-Health &Mr. Chinnappa, Aromatics Producer will be addressing the sessions and will be conducting hands-on workshops as well.
The sessions will begin with inauguration and a keynote address by Dr. Tien Huynh who will be introduced by Mr. Lawrence Surendra, Chairman, TSP, Asia.
Teachers, researchers, UG & PG students, interested in biodiversity are invited to participate in large number.
