THE DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
The Department of Commerce was started in the year 1969 and Business Management as a separate discipline was introduced in the year 2004. It was functioning along with the Department of Commerce till 2004. Since 1st June 2014, the Management Department is functioning as an independent department. Presently the department has 3 faculty and around 140 students.
The Department of Management has keenly followed the emerging trends and has shown academic responsibility to keep the faculty and students in pace with the evolving methods and practices. In this light the department organized a National Level Seminar on the topic “Inflation Management- Myths and Realities” in the year 2011 and a state level management fest “Optimus Empressario” in 2012.
Achievements of the department:
“Career opportunities in Fainance presentation” A talk by C.A Narayan Nambiar attended by 1st year BCom students.
Our Final year students have attended the following Campus recruitment in the academic year 2016-17:

3) Sys Information Health care India Pvt ltd.
On 22nd Feb 2017, Global opportunities Pvt ltd held a free counselling session for the students who are aspiring to do their higher education in foreign countries.
Thompson Reuters as part of their CSR initiative partnered with GTT NASSCOM foundation provided training for our Final year students for 100hrs at free of cost on financial markets for better career opportunities.
In the month of Feb 2017 our students attended an orientation programme on S.A.P conducted by the Gonos consulting Pvt ltd.
